Omniscient Technology, the leading software consulting firm around Montreal and the South-Shore, has been started in 2005 by François Germain and David Lacerte. At first, the goal has been to do software development consulting while building our own products between two contracts. However, not only haven't we had any relief between contracts, we even had to hire employees and grow our consulting business!
The mountains shown on the background of this page represent our desire to reach the top of the software consulting business in Canada, but also represent us. David and François have been friends for years and they climbed and skied tons of mountains in North-America together. This means our team has a really solid core that won’t let the client fall!

François is currently working as a senior software architect for our main client, Harmony Information Systems, Inc. Throughout the many years relationship, he managed the development of several products and modules, participated in the elaboration and operational support of their main SAAS delivery platform, built the foundation of the integration layer for all major modules, helped the team in data architecture and SQL Optimizations and last but not the least, continuously helped the team improve processes to augment productivity, team throughput and ultimatitely software quality.
He participated with a group of few very talented individuals to the elaboration of SAMS, Synergy's Flagship product, that is used by a majority of state and county governments in the U.S. SAMS helps organizations of any size manage aging consumers care planning, service management, integration of assessment data, long-term care information. It also provides a powerful reporting facility, a comprehensive consumer and provider management and superb E-Billing module.
François is highly qualified at leading any type of projects and making sure to optimize the cost/feature ratio.

David is also currently working as a senior software architect for our main client, Harmony Information Systems, Inc.
David is the co-founder of Omniscient Technology Inc. He has held several senior consulting architecture and development positions at all our clients and helped them develop stellar web and service oriented solutions using Microsoft technologies such as ASP.NET, AJAX, WPF, Silverlight and SQL Server.
David is a Microsoft Certified Profesionnal (MCP) since 2004. He's an awesome resource on everything .NET related and likes to teach other team members the right way of using .NET technologies like ASP.NET, AJAX, Silverlight, WPF, WCF, Visual Studio and the C# language in general.
